Dean Takiguchi, MPT, OCS – Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
Dean has over 30 years of experience in the field of Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He completed his National Board Certification as an Orthopedic Specialist (OCS) in 2007. Dean received his Master of Physical Therapy from University of California, San Francisco in 1993 and his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from California State University Fullerton in 1989. Dean has advanced skills in Orthopedics, Sports Rehabilitation and Manual Therapy as well as Exercise Training and Full Body Reconditioning. Dean loves what he does and has completed extensive continuing education programs furthering his knowledge in a wide variety of diagnoses and treatment techniques.
Dean enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends and serving at Crossroads Community Church in Mission Viejo. He also enjoys working out at the gym, barbecuing and napping which usually falls in that order.
Adam Nadler, DPT – Physical Therapist, Assistant Clinical Director
Adam is a Licensed Physical Therapist who received his doctorate of physical therapy from Western University. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training where he specialized in injury prevention, recognition, rehabilitation, and management of athletes in football, track and field, soccer and swimming. He continued his education earning a Master’s in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 2008. He later continued his education by obtaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2018. He has extensive experience in treating the shoulder, foot and ankle disorders, ergonomic and posture instruction, manual therapy techniques, managing lower extremity dysfunctions, post-surgical rehabilitation and sports conditioning. His skills extend to treating patients with Parkinson’s Disease with his LSVT BIG certification.
Adam has participated as part of the medical staff in several Orange County triathlons and is also skilled in the Mulligan concept of mobilization with movement manual therapy technique to help restore posture and increase pain free range of motion. He is involved with a few Orange County running clubs where he has given talks on injury prevention, stretching and how to properly manage injuries while keeping runners on track of their running program. His personal interests include soccer, tennis, hiking, beach volleyball, and football.
Laura Siemens, MPT – Physical Therapist
Laura has over 30 years of experience in orthopedics and sports medicine. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from UCLA and her Master of Arts in Physical Therapy from Stanford University. Laura is a Certified “Hawkgrips Practitioner” (Hawkgrips is an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Technique) and has extensive advanced training in manual therapy with 10 years of specific experience as a spine specialist. Laura also holds a Certification in Clinical Education and most recently has been Certified in AFS “Applied Functional Science” allowing her to analyze and treat movement disorders more effectively. Laura has been involved in local youth sports at the high school level and youth club levels (especially soccer), has had the pleasure of serving athletes of all ages while treating injuries, consulting with parents and coaches, and enjoys the challenge of returning athletes to sports of all kinds.
In her personal life, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, two young adult children, family and friends. She also enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, and all types of Yoga.
Dr. Joe McArthur, PT, DPT – Physical Therapist
Joe is a Licensed Physical Therapist who received his doctorate of physical therapy from Midwestern University. He graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communications with a Public Relations emphasis and a double minor in Health Sciences and Biology. During his doctoral program Joe had a special interest in working with neurologic injury patients and as a student worked on the trauma floor at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, AZ, working with concussion, TBI and polytrauma patients.
Joe has extensive experience working with the outpatient orthopedic population and has served as a member of the Medical Staff for the U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach where he worked with BMX and Skateboarding athletes. Joe has experience working with other professional athletes including volleyball, skateboarding and BMX. He has a wealth of experience working with orthopedic injuries, as well as post operative patients with total joint replacements and other orthopedic injuries.
In his free time, Joe enjoys surfing, camping and hiking with his wife and two boys.
Hailey Tripodo, B.S. – Physical Therapy Aide
Hailey completed her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in the spring of 2020, where she had the pleasure of working with and learning about older adults. She has worked with younger and older adults in a variety of settings; from aquatic classes to an Adapted Kinesiology program, and completely fell in love with how amazing the people were. She is passionate about helping others accomplish their exercise goals and enjoys learning about the science of how the human body moves. She hopes to assist others in their journey to recovery and guide them to a healthy lifestyle through physical activity.
In her free time, she loves to read, swim and cook yummy food for others. Hailey hopes to go into a career in aquatic therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, or research in working with older adults.
